Wheaton Precious Metals is a multinational precious metals streaming company and one of the largest global streaming and royalty companies with a C$23.2bn market cap. The company has acquired a gold and silver stream from the Blackwater gold project in British Columbia for US$441m, with Edison Group estimating that this will add 4.6% to its gold production profile. This adds to the potential valuation upside, which could be meaningful if precious metals return to favour.
