BioPharma Credit PLC is a closed-ended investment company in the UK. The company aims to generate long-term shareholder returns, principally in the form of sustainable income distributions from exposure to the life sciences industry and invests in interest-bearing-debt assets with a contractual right to future cash flows derived from royalties or sales of approved life sciences products and seeks to build a diversified portfolio by investing across a range of different forms of assets issued by a variety of borrowers. It recently announced it has entered into new senior secured loan agreements for up to US$212.5m in aggregate with two Nasdaq-listed biopharmaceutical companies: Evolus and Coherus. BPCR also provided an additional tranche of US$50m to Global Blood Therapeutics.
