Edison Group initiated coverage on Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust which is a large British investment trust. Established in 2018, it is dedicated to investments in United States-based companies and look for ‘blue sky’ investment opportunities with the prospect of exceptional returns over periods of five years or more. In the financial year ended 31 May 2021, the trust returned 62.8% in NAV terms, dramatically outperforming the benchmark return of 22.4%.
